I know that I personally have always been obsessed with food but I'm just learning this concept of "food noise" and wondering what that means to everyone. For example, I was hungry at breakfast but struggling with what to eat or whether I should skip the meal to not eat poorly. Is that "food noise?" Do people without "food noise" feel hunger and not overthink it?

For me, it's when my mind gets really caught up in thoughts about food — whether it’s what I should eat, when I should eat, or if I'm eating “right.” It's like my brain is constantly analyzing, and it can make even simple meals feel complicated or stressful. I get you!

I feel like "Food Noise" is just a word that clinicians made up to diagnose food-based OCD.

For me it's like a constant obsession. Before I went on Ozempic I thought it was because I was just always hungry but now I realize it was actually a compulsion.
